Here’s Part 1 of our “Caucasian Vacation” featuring highlights of our time in Armenia, a landlocked country in the Caucasus Mountain Region between Europe and Asia. During our 3-day trip, we visited monasteries, museums, a distillery and market places.

I’ve been to Dubai three times and I’m finally writing about “The City of Gold”. If Abu Dhabi is the United Arab Emirate’s chill, older, mature sibling, Dubai, pronounced Du-bay by Arabs in the region, is that life of the party, turnt-up cousin or younger sibling.
Today, we’re going back to Abu Dhabi. Chris and I visited this country during our first year living in Bahrain. We actually went during the American Independence Day weekend, which happened to be during the Holy Month of Ramadan, our first time experiencing that holiday.

Italy! History, food and great wine (unless you’re pregnant right?). In 2018, we were fortunate enough to enjoy a last-minute Italian getaway while pregnant with our daughter. Fortunate because we almost didn’t go anywhere given our tight schedules and indecisiveness. But I’m happy to report that our babymoon to Venice, Rome and Nerano was better than expected!
